Absolutely no griefing or PVP against players who have not consented. Consent is strictly recorded in the β ββ»-π«π¨π₯ππ¬ channel. Respect the boundaries of your fellow players at all times.
All Discord server rules and TOS apply here. We expect maturity from our members; if your behavior frequently makes others uncomfortable and you fail to correct it, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy to ensure everyone feels safe.
Please do not attempt to acquire the world seed. It is hidden to prevent unfair advantages. Any unauthorized knowledge of the seed is considered an intellectual property violation and will result in consequences.
Policy applies on a report basis. Please try to resolve conflicts personally first, but if efforts are ineffective, communicate the issue to @Starlings or @SMP Owner. You can get in contact with these people by expanding the "staff" section in the footer of this page.
Community safety is our top priority. Offenses are recorded, and while punishment depends on the violation, severity increases with repeated infractions. We will take any action necessary to keep the community safe.

While technical issues always have the ability to arise, the server runs in a dockerized environment where automatic world backups are performed every two hours. Performance is great because this environment is optimized for hosting.
We like to preserve the authentic Minecraft experience. That means no weird command-based economies, teleporting systems, or heavy mods unfaithful to the vanilla experience. The diamond economy is the best economy!

Our server is exclusively 18+. Even though our community consists solely of adults, we require all content and interactions to remain entirely Safe For Work (SFW). Maintaining a comfortable, respectful, and secure environment is our absolute top priority. Every single member is expected to contribute to safety all throughout the server.
The server has AxGraves (a graves plugin for preserving items after death), Bluemap (a web map), DiscordSRV (Minecraft chat is bridged into a Discord channel), interactive chat, SimpleAFK, ViaBackwards and ViaVersion (for universal version support), and Simple Voice Chat (proximity/group voicechat).
Yes, Discord is required to join the Minecraft server because Discord acts as both a platform for members to socialize and a platform for staff to maintain a clear record of server members. You must be a member of the Discord server to join the SMP. In-game applications of players not in the Discord server will be ignored.
Start by clicking the "Join" button at the top of your page, then follow the onboarding instructions to join the discord server. Once you're accepted into the Discord, join the Minecraft server and follow the in-game instructions to apply.
Voicechat is not required, but it's encouraged. Chatting can occur in the Discord server voice channels, text channels, or the SMP chat channel which is linked to the in-game chat.
Applications are usually reviewed within one hour, but rarely can take up to 24. If your application isn't responded to within 24 hours, contact support at the bottom of the page.
To join Sundown SMP, you must be 18+. However, explicit content is forbidden, and will result in a ban.
